Fairmount CDC seeks Communication Coordinator

Requirements

  • Flexibility with hours depending on upcoming events
  • Must have good working knowledge of graphic design, website maintenance, and top social media platforms
  • Collaborate with Business Services and Membership Manager
  • Must have good working knowledge of Google Docs, and CRM systems
  • Reports day-to-day to the Executive Director, quarterly check in with the Communications Committee

FCDC Website, Social Media & E-Newsletter Management

  • Work with the communication committee to craft one primary brand for Fairmount CDC
  • Create, write content for, and distribute a monthly e-newsletter for FCDC website and across all social media platforms
  • Maintain and update calendars on website and across all social media platforms
  • Create/maintain email & CRM databases for:
  • Each FCDC event (sponsors, vendors, participants, etc)
  • Various fundraising campaigns
  • Greater Art Museum Business Alliance (GAMBA)
  • Create template and write weekly GAMBA email blasts (with GAMBA manager)
  • Create a GAMBA social media calendar to ensure all members rotate through promotions quarterly
  • Ensure all Sponsors are recognized in appropriate outlets (e.g. newsletter, social media, web)

Event Promotion

  • Arts Crawl, Girard Avenue Festival, Food Fight, Trolley Shop Pop Ups, and Quarterly Community Clean Ups
  • Create and implement a marketing plan for each event that includes:
  • Timelines for social media hits, distribution of marketing materials, and important deadlines
  • Sponsor recognition
  • Flyer creation and distribution
  • Social media promotion
  • Swag/giveaways
  • Create registration pages for various participants (sponsors, non-profits, food vendors…)
  • Online Ticket Sales (when applicable)
  • GAMBA
  • Collaborate around marketing and swag/giveaways

Event Support (work alongside Business Services & Event Manager)

  • Raffle recruitment and coordination (applicable events)
  • Manage all permits that need submitted to the city
  • Coordinate event rentals (tables, stages, etc.)

Survey Management/Analytics

  • Create surveys for all events and memberships
  • Evaluate and report on survey results
  • Monitor and report on analytics such as email open rates, social media shares, website visits
