DESCRIPTION
Fairmount Ventures (fairmountinc.com) is a social impact business launched in 1992 to help nonprofits grow and thrive. Core services for nonprofits, public agencies, and philanthropy include: strategic and business planning, resource development and capital campaigns, executive search, program design and assessment, and mergers and affiliations. Fairmount Ventures (Fairmount) was retained by the Philadelphia Holocaust Remembrance Foundation (PHRF) to support PHRF’s capital campaign for the newly redeveloped Philadelphia Holocaust Memorial Plaza (philaholocaustmemorial.org). Under this contract, Fairmount’s assigned team for PHRF functions as its full-scale staff, supporting PHRF with fundraising, project management, vendor relationship management, educational program planning, and other services. The contract is in effect till April 2019. The new Holocaust Memorial Plaza (Plaza) will open to the public in Fall 2018.
Position Overview
Fairmount is adding a part-time Project Coordinator to its project team for PHRF. This position supports a full range of tasks with a primary focus on coordinating and implementing various aspects of PHRF’s capital campaign. The position is ideal for an experienced and intellectually curious individual that understands the nuance of and enjoys large-scale project management and has the capacity to manage competing priorities in a very fast-paced environment. S/he is energized by complex questions and being part of a multi-disciplinary, diverse team, excellent at 360 communication, and capable of both strategic thinking and maintaining a high volume of tactical data.
