FINANTA is a non-profit 501(c) (3) community lender facilitating access to capital and technical assistance to consumers purchasing a home for the first-time or establishing consumer credit and entrepreneurs doing business. Technical assistance focuses on financial education and credit building. FINANTA is certified as a U.S. Small Business Administration Microloan Intermediary, a U.S. Treasury Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), and a Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency Homeownership Lender.
The Loan Officer will support FINANTA’s delivery of first-time homebuyer mortgages, consumer, entrepreneur, and nonprofit economic development loans. The Loan Officer will facilitate the lending process from start to finish, including origination, underwriting, closing, and ongoing servicing for both existing and new clients, while also providing loan packaging assistance as needed.
- Originate, underwrite, and close loans
- Meet or exceed unit’s monthly loan goals
- Provide loan packaging assistance to customers
- Refer customers to other units of the organization as needed
