Urban Land Institute seeks Manager, ULI Philadelphia

As an integral part of the district council team, the Manager serves as a professional liaison among the district councils, ULI headquarters, and the Philadelphia area and region’s real estate, planning, and development professionals and thought leaders. The Manager’s overall responsibility is to serve as an informed resource to support the district council’s various content centers and member networks, interacting with them to ensure that all work is consistent with the Institute’s policies and procedures and that ULI Philadelphia’s mission, goals, and objectives are met. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager is responsible for engaging and leading local volunteer members, managing committees, executing events and initiatives, overseeing Advisory Services land use projects, and working with partners to advance the mission of ULI.

This is a full-time exempt position located in Philadelphia, PA reporting to the Executive Director, ULI Philadelphia.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Manager regularly interfaces and represents ULI with all members as well as with industry leaders and stakeholders in the public and private sectors. Part of a small team, ULI staff members handle external, substantive, and logistical tasks related to job functions and have opportunities for creativity and to bring ideas to the organization’s growth.
