Women’s Community Revitalization Project seeks Organizing Director

The Women’s Community Revitalization Project (WCRP) is a non-profit organization committed to social and economic equity for low-income women and families. WCRP develops and manages affordable housing, provides supportive services, advocates for policy change, and honors leadership, dignity, and justice in our communities.

The Organizing Director is responsible for developing and guiding WCRP’s organizing and advocacy work. These efforts support WCRP’s housing and equitable development agenda as well as serve as a vehicle for the development of leadership within the organization and in the community as a whole.

Summary of Duties:
– Coordinate strategic relationships with individuals, institutions, public officials and other decision-makers with the goal of heightening the power and stature of WCRP in the community and city.
– Convene and staff city-wide and local coalition efforts.
– Supervise a full time community organizer and student interns.
– Participate in fundraising and managing awarded funds.
