NeighborWorks Training Opportunity

Take advantage of an opportunity to attend a national NeighborWorks Training Institute (NTI) this coming August 13-17 in Cincinnati, OH.  The NTI is an event that provides training and networking opportunities to organizations like yours to increase the capacity of your staff and board members in the field of community development.  One exciting event that happens at each NTI is the Symposium, and this August, the topic will be “Young Professionals: The Future of Community Development”.  A myriad of other courses are available, including new courses never before offered.  You can find the full list of course offerings here:  http://nw.org/network/training/eventschedule.asp?eventid=855

  • The CDC Tax Credit Program has fostered 35 partnerships between businesses and non-profits that is providing $60 million in new funding for CDC neighborhood economic development.

  • PACDC’s Member Services programming builds capacity of CDCs through technical assistance and training, sharing of best practices, networking, and promotion of the local CDC industry.

  • The local CDC industry generated $3.3 billion in economic impact in Philadelphia during the past 20 years.
