On the afternoon of Thursday, January 5th Beth McConnell of PACDC provided testimony to the Land Bank Board of Directors on the Land Bank Strategic Plan and Acquisition & Disposition Policies. These policies will affect the Land Bank’s approach to fulfilling its mission as well as the manner in which it transfers property and uses its powers to acquire them.

PACDC has advocated for many years for a strong, efficient, effective, transparent, accountable, and equitable Land Bank to address Philadelphia’s vacant property crisis. As the Land Bank ramps up we believe more can be done to meet these goals and ensure that Philadelphia gets the Land Bank it deserves.
