ACHIEVEability seeks Neighborhood Advisory Committee Coordinator

MISSION FIRST HOUSING GROUP’s (MFHG) develops and manages affordable, safe and sustainable homes for people in need, with a focus on the vulnerable. We ensure our residents have access to resources to help them live independently. We deliver housing that provides long-term benefits to residents and neighborhoods, alike.

Position Overview:

The Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC) Coordinator is bridge to the community and works to connect residents to resources and ACHIEVEability programming. This individual is a vital ambassador for ACHIEVEability and helps to build relationships, help residents organize and advocate for resources for our neighborhood, and assists in carrying out the programmatic goals of the ACHIEVEability Connects team. These includes Community and Resident Engagement, Revitalization of the 60th Street Commercial Corridor, and Safety and Public Space Improvement. The NAC Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing aid in the prevention or elimination of homelessness, preventing foreclosures, and connecting resources to community needs. They will be responsible for implementing all activities under ACHIEVEability’s contract with Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). The NAC Coordinator reports to the Director of Community and Economic Development.
