The Benefits Counselor will go through a virtual training and certificate program to learn all about how working impacts SSA benefits, work incentives, Medicare, and Medicaid. Training is set to begin on 9/9 through Cornells YTI Institute. You would helps your caseload of participants understand how working will impact their SSA and other government benefits. The goal is to provide good information so the participant can make an informed decision on how much work is right for them. The Benefits Counselor will help use SSA work incentives, assist with reporting earnings to SSA, and any other questions or concerns regarding SSA and other government benefits.
