The Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE) is a national non-profit dedicated to the employment, development, and advancement of current and aspiring Latino professionals. Since 1982, HACE has served as a resource for Latinos in the workplace and is a subject matter expert for corporations seeking to access diverse talent. Position Overview:
The Business District Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for economic development in the commercial corridors managed by HACE to include El Centro de Oro and the Front & Allegheny Ave corridors. The Manager is also responsible for coordinating all aspects of the organizing and commercial revitalization strategy with considerable independent judgment and initiative under the general guidance of HACE’s Director of Operations.
The Business District Manager will work with local business owners to strengthen their leadership, to increase membership in the Business Association and to organize and support committees in promotions, design, economic restructuring, safety and sanitation, and other issues involved in neighborhood revitalization. The manager will assist the businesses to coordinate the services provided by numerous city agencies, consultants, other service organizations and work with funding institutions in identifying needed resources.
