Movement Alliance Project seeks Logistics Coordinator

Movement Alliance Project (formerly Media Mobilizing Project) has been a part of Philadelphia’s movement ecosystem since 2005. Over recent years, Movement Alliance Project (MAP) has developed into a hub for local movement building for justice, dignity, and power.

We’re conveners, facilitators, administrative professionals and former campaigners who enjoy working together. We strive to build the strength of the local movement ecosystem so that social movements can transform material conditions for Black, brown, poor, and working people to reflect the care, well being, and dignity all people deserve

Position Overview:

The Movement Alliance Project is currently in a growth phase. We see this as an opportunity to be intentional about the kind of organization we want to become as we continue to expand. To help us grow in alignment with our values and practices, we are seeking a Logistics Coordinator for the Movement Collaborations Department. The Logistics Coordinator will provide logistical and administrative support to assist the department with its increasing number of activities.

This role will oversee background processes that are essential for successful programming. Specifically, they will work with project leads to manage event planning, outreach, and organizational tasks that are critical to upcoming projects. The Logistics Coordinator will be accountable and take full charge of all logistical responsibilities within the Movement Collaborations Department.
