Position Overview:
PHDC is seeking a savvy and highly engaged Vice President of Finance who, under the supervision and direction of the President & CEO will oversee/supervise the Finance Department and staff. The VP of Finance works collaboratively across the organization and with key stakeholders (i.e. funders, regulatory business partners, board members and vendors) and internal staff members on financial protocols and procedures. The VP of Finance must have substantial knowledge of finance, accounting budgeting and cost principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB). An understanding of subsidy and tax credit federal programs, low income housing tax credits (LIHTC), municipal bonds, and the related audit, compliance and reporting requirements is desired.
