The Association for Public Art (aPA), founded in 1872 as the nation’s first private, non-profit public art organization, seeks an experienced professional for a newly created position with diversity and equity at its core to develop, lead, and manage a comprehensive and equitable education and community engagement program that connects people with public art.

Position Overview:

The Learning and Engagement Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing aPA’s educational offerings, public programs, and community engagement in order to advance aPA’s commitment to accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusiveness in our work. We are a small, dedicated, and dynamic team, seeking a proficient, highly motivated, community-minded, astute, gregarious, collaborative, and organized individual to “hit the ground running” and represent aPA with enthusiasm and confidence.
