PIDC RACP Grant 101 Series
How many community organizations have heard of RACP, but aren’t clear on what it is? You may have heard it’s a State grant program, but you may not know much more, or you know of RACP but have no idea how to get started. You may also have a capital construction project in which you are putting together financing and need this additional funding source, but where do you begin? If this describes your organization, then this 4-Part RACP series is for you!
Join PIDC in partnership with the Philadelphia State Senate delegation as we offer this 4-part series on the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) to provide you with all the details on RACP, including what it is, who is eligible, how to get started, how to access the grant, and how to ensure a successful project.
This 4-part series will run from Thursday, January 26, 2023 to February for four (4) consecutive Thursdays to bring you information that will clarify the program, help you get started, and finish your capital project. Each session in the series focuses on the key components of a successful project and includes presenters who are RACP experts.
Session #2 – Building Your RACP Grant Team
A significant part of your success with the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) and completing your project is selecting the right team of professionals. These are consultants who already know the program and have a track record of working with organizations through the successful completion of construction projects. This session walks you through identifying the right consultants, what services you can expect from the consultants, how to plan the scope and budgets of your project, and want to expect in assembling the RACP application and working with the State.
