Create competitive funding applications for state and local tax credit programs.
Wednesday, March 8, 3:00pm-4:30pm | Via Zoom
Tax credit programs encourage public-private partnerships by incentivizing businesses to invest in local community and economic development work. CDCs and other community-based nonprofits benefit from flexible funding, and in many cases, multi-year commitments of funding from their business contributor partners.
This free workshop is geared toward CDCs and community-based nonprofits, and will focus on the local CDC Tax Credit program and state-level DCED Neighborhood Assistance Program. We will cover topics like:
- What makes for a competitive application?
- What is the difference between the various types of tax credit partnership opportunities?
- How can I identify and secure a business contributor partner?
- What is the timeline for open application periods for these programs?
Presenters:
- Michael Shorr, PA Department of Community & Economic Development
- Terrine Datts, Philadelphia Department of Commerce
- Sara Lepori, Philadelphia Department of Commerce
