Philadelphia Department of Commerce Workshop for Business Associations, Community Development Corporations, and Business Improvement Districts

The Philadelphia Department of Commerce will host the annual Festival Planning Workshop for BIDs, CDCs and Business Associations on Wednesday, February 22nd at 10am. If your organization is planning to host an outdoor festival this spring or summer join us to learn from the experts about:

  • Philadelphia rules and regulations for events
  • Food safety requirements
  • Street closure regulations
  • And more!

Presenter Mechelle Sabb of the Managing Director’s Office and representatives of the Health Department, Licenses and Inspections, and Streets Department will walk you through the steps you need to take to ensure that your event is a success.

This workshop is designed for BIDs, CDCs and Business Associations ONLY, and is NOT OPEN to businesses, vendors, event planning businesses, etc.
