We will also be holding a webinar in the coming weeks.
Why Attend: Attendees will learn how tenant units of a building or complex can receive a free energy assessment and no or low-cost energy-saving items. Attendees will also learn about free or subsidized common space measures and system enhancements, such as LED fixture replacement. There will also be information about market rate and rebate programs. Opportunities include:
PECO’s Low Income Energy Efficiency Program (LEEP) is a FREE program under the PA Act 129 (up to 150% FPL.) The program benefits both individually metered and master metered properties, regardless of the type of heat being used, and when at least 66% of a building’s tenants qualify, the building is eligible for common space lighting upgrades such as new LED fixtures.
Free energy saving in-unit upgrades are also available through PECO Smart Multifamily Solutions. Customers with non-income eligible multifamily buildings can take advantage of complimentary energy-saving equipment as well as valuable incentives for energy-efficient equipment upgrades.
PGW’s Low Income Multifamily Efficiency (LIME) program also offers free or low cost energy saving retrofits to owners of income-qualified multifamily housing. Low or no-cost measures could include low-flow plumbing fixtures, air-sealing, upgraded thermostats, insulation and in some cases improvements to heating or hot water systems. PGW also offers EnergySense programs, providing rebates for high efficiency equipment and grants for new construction projects and retrofits to existing buildings.
The meeting will include the opportunity to speak with utility and program implementer representatives and to schedule services for your properties. Other PECO support services may be on site and available to provide additional information.
