Keynote Speaker

Dr. Michael McAfee, president of PolicyLink, will be the Keynote Speaker at our 10th Anniversary Summit & Celebration. As PolicyLink President, Dr. McAfee oversees strategy development, the alignment of PolicyLink assets, and the achievement of policy wins that ensure all people in America have economic security, live in healthy communities of opportunity, and benefit from a just society. At the NACEDA Summit, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with Dr. McAfee about strategies for building an equitable nation from the ground up.

Summit speakers will share their success and challenges on advancing policy initiatives, partnering with health providers, using arts and culture to engage communities, and developing effective networks. You’ll strengthen your network of peers across the country who are working at the state and regional levels to advance prosperity in lower-income places.

*   Thriving Networks – Engage in with peers from around the country in professional development sessions. Find out about how networks are increasing the capacity of place-based nonprofits and developing partnerships to advance prosperity in lower-income communities.
*   Healthy Places – Learn about policies, practices, and partnerships that improve the social determinants of health in the communities we serve.
*   Creative Places – Explore how arts and culture can engage communities and create more vibrant and equitable places where people live, work, and play.

Venue

The summit will be held at the Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square, located at 1800 Market Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
