PACDC & Allies File Brief in Support of Windows & Doors Ordinance

PACDC and our allies at the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia filed an Amicus Curiae Brief  with the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania in support of a Philadelphia Ordinance that requires property owners to seal openings with real windows and doors, rather than plywood or other materials.  Boarded-up buildings are a blighting influence in our neighborhoods, attract graffiti, litter, and vandalism, and deter new investment.  We were joined in the brief by the Tacony CDC, New Kensington CDC, the Viola Street Residents Association, Centennial Parkside CDC, and the North 5th St Revitalization Project.
