PACDC Elects 2019 Board of Directors at Annual Membership Meeting

Congratulations to our two new Board members and new Board leadership! Results of the Board elections held at the Annual Membership meeting are below.
Members elected the following two new members to the PACDC Board to fill vacancies:
- Jamila Harris-Morrison, Executive Director, ACHIEVEability
- Felix Torres-Colon, Executive Director, New Kensington CDC
The following existing eight board members were re-elected to serve an additional two-year term:
- John Chin, Executive Director, Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation
- Michael Davidson, Partner, Turner Law
- Maria Gonzalez, President, HACE
- Rose Gray, Senior Vice President of Community and Economic Development, Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha
- Nora Lichtash, Executive Director, Women’s Community Revitalization Project
- Majeedah Rashid, Chief Operating Officer, Nicetown CDC
- Dina Schlossberg, Deputy Director/Senior Attorney for Multifamily Housing, Regional Housing Legal Services
- Janet Stearns, Vice President of Real Estate Development and Asset Management, Project HOME
The other five members of the PACDC Board are in the middle of two-year terms that run through 2019:
- Marcus Allen, Chief Executive Officer, Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region
- Bryan Fenstermaker, Executive Director, Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corporation
- Michael Thorpe, Executive Director, Mt. Vernon Manor CDC
- Kim Washington, Executive Director, Frankford CDC
- James Wright, Director of Community, Economic & Real Estate Development, People’s Emergency Center CDC
At the Board meeting following the Annual Membership Meeting, the following slate of Board officers was approved:
- President: Maria Gonzalez, President, HACE
- Vice President: Michael Thorpe, Executive Director, Mt. Vernon Manor CDC
- Treasurer: Marcus Allen, Chief Executive Officer, Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region
- Secretary: Bryan Fenstermaker, Executive Director, Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corporation
