PACDC testified before City Council’s Committee on Public Property on Bill No. 190606 on October 1st 2019, which would make several important changes to the way the city deals with vacant property. It would eliminate the Vacant Property Review Committee (VPRC) to streamline the process for disposing of vacant property, create a scoring criteria that priorities public purpose and inclusion over financial gain of land sales, and make other important changes.
