This free workshop is for members of existing RCOs (Registered Community Organizations) and for groups considering applying as an RCO. The presentation-style format will walk you through the approvals process for any construction project in Philadelphia and the roles of the Planning Commission, Civic Design Review board, Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Department of Licenses and Inspections (L&I) and RCOs.
Learn about the responsibilities of being accepted as an RCO and about any recent changes in the regulations.
If you’re applying for the first time as an RCO, get your questions answered about the responsibilities of becoming an RCO, the criteria used for acceptance and whether this is a good idea for your group. Both workshops will be the same format and are identical:
- Daytime Workshop Date: Thursday, June 6th, 2019: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
- Evening Workshop Date: Wednesday, June 12th, 2019: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
We kindly request that active RCOs or other community groups limit their ticket purchases to 2 per group, unless absolutely necessary. Space will be limited.
