Building Hope Luncheon

Pennsylvania Convention Center
May 07, 2020 12:00pm - 1:30pm

The Building Hope Luncheon is Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia’s signature fundraising event. In 90 minutes we share the successes of Habitat families, and inspire the Greater Philadelphia community to rally around the cause of affordable housing.

An individual’s health is directly tied to where they live, and awardees recognize housing as a health indicator and advocate for Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia’s vision of a city where everyone has a decent place to call home. Award winners have reached a level of distinction in their respective fields and work alongside Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia as a valued partner.

Habitat is proud to honor Stephen K. Klasko, MD, MBA, President of Thomas Jefferson University and CEO of Jefferson Health with the Healthy Communities Achievement Award, bestowed by Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia. It is an honor reserved for those who demonstrate a steadfast commitment to improving the health of local communities through the lens of housing.

This event includes a Luncheon and Keynote speech by Stephen Klasko, as well as the presentation of the Health Communities Achievement Award.

There is no ticket price to attend the Building Hope Luncheon, rather, Table Captains recruit friends, family, and colleagues to fill tables of 10 guests. Not invited by a Table Captain? No problem! All are welcome to attend this event. The suggested minimum donation is $150.
