City Lobby: Race + Public Space

Pipeline Philly
Dec 13, 2017 6:00pm - 8:00pm

The first of a series of conversations on race and public space.

Philadelphia has invested significantly in improving its public spaces for all citizens to enjoy. The benefits of a vibrant public realm and civic commons are clear—we need spaces to come together, get fresh air, repose alone, protest, and play. But are these spaces, in practice, accessible to everyone? Who are they designed by and for? Join us for the beginning of a conversation about race and public space.
