Legal Update – Major Changes to PA Nonprofit Law

Learn how PA’s new nonprofit corporation law amendments will impact your organization.

Thursday, April 6, 2:00pm-3:30pm | Via Zoom

Join PACDC, Regional Housing Legal Services, and Cheshire Law Group for this not-to-be-missed legal briefing. Pennsylvania made significant amendments to its nonprofit corporation law in November 2022, which just went into effect in January 2023.

Find out how these major changes impact your organization!

Morgen Cheshire, a lawyer for nonprofits for nearly 20 years and the managing editor of PAnonprofitlaw.com – a new legal resource offering downloadable legal tools and templates for Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations – will help us get to the bottom line quickly about what we need to know about these new changes to the law and how they impact nonprofits. In particular, we will learn how the new annual report requirement and the new administrative dissolution provisions impact PACDC member organizations and their affiliate entities (i.e., general partnerships, LLCs, nonprofit corporations, etc.).

An executive summary of the new amendments will be provided for free to participants of this legal briefing.
