Creating programs where everyone has a sense of equity, belonging, and acceptance can be very challenging. Today, equity and inclusion are words that are tied together so often that they seem synonymous and are used interchangeably. The creation of equity within an organization should not be confused with the creation of an inclusive environment. Not knowing the difference can lead us into focusing on the wrong efforts!
