The Fairmount CDC’s mission is to foster the improvement of the residential, commercial, and social fabric of the Fairmount neighborhood, while preserving its character and diversity. Our service area is bounded by two commercial corridors (Girard & Fairmount Avenues), Fairmount Park, and the Eastern State Penitentiary (Corinthian Avenue).
Position Overview:
Fairmount Community Development Corporation (FCDC) seeks a new team member to partner with the Executive Director creating community dialogue and events, supporting a vibrant local economy, and helping the neighborhood thrive.
The Community Development Manager will take the lead building relationships with current and aspiring business owners and entrepreneurs across the Art Museum District, including the neighborhoods of Brewerytown, Fairmount, Francisville, Sharswood, and Spring Garden, and the Fairmount Avenue and Girard Avenue commercial corridors.
