Temple University seeks Corridor Business Consultant

Organizational Overview:

The Small Business Development Center at Temple University in the Fox School of Business provides education, training, and consulting services to small businesses and entrepreneurs throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.

Position Overview:

The Corridor Business Consultant is responsible for providing high-touch consulting and workshop delivery to small businesses in Philadelphia, focusing on women & minority-owned business corridor businesses. The Consultant will work directly with business owners on business stabilization and growth including business plan development, financial analysis, market research, business management, operations, and access to capital. The incumbent is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients including regular follow-up and coordination of all activities on behalf of the client. This position will be the on-the-ground connector of targeted entrepreneurs to business services and resources within the Philadelphia ecosystem.

The Consultant will be responsible for leading monthly and quarterly workshops on entrepreneurship and business planning topics.This position is temporarily assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus, on-site, and remote); the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department. Regular in-person meetings are expected at Temple University campuses and client business locations.
