We seek to open doors of economic opportunity for immigrants of all education and skill levels and to build immigrants’ individual and collective agency to address barriers to integration and well-being. The Association of Mexican Business Owners of Philadelphia is a group of immigrant merchants, whose mission is to support Latinx businesses to acquire tools, skills, and representation to promote their advancement in order to foster economic development in our community and the city of Philadelphia. Position Overview:
This is a one-year part-time opportunity funded by the Philadelphia Department of Commerce and administered by The Welcoming Center to support the Association of Mexican Business Owners of Philadelphia. The Commercial Corridor Manager will support small-business owners along 9th street and its immediate surroundings in South Philadelphia.
