The William Way LGBT Community Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community center, headquartered in Center City, Philadelphia. William Way’s mission is to encourage, support, and advocate for the well-being and acceptance of sexual and gender minorities through service, recreational, educational and cultural programming.
William Way LGBT Community Center seeks to hire a part-time Community Engagement Specialist for the overall coordination and implementation of twice monthly tours of the Center, new constituent events and cultivation. A successful candidate should be detail-oriented, have excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently and consistently to achieve goals and complete tasks in an effective and efficient manner. The Engagement Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Development.
