PACDC & PIDC’s Project Development Training Series

Industry professionals and participants of the Project Development 101 and Project Development 102 series convened to discuss the process of developing a capital project, including maintaining the project’s schedule, budget, and plans.

Project Development 101 – “Bringing It All Together” focused on bringing the vision to life by outlining the necessary steps for planning and managing the development process and identifying resources. Participants were taken step-by-step through the process of developing a master plan, including what to expect in the pre-development phase and how to select project professionals.

Project Development 102 – “Show Me the Money” focused on project financing, including developing a project budget, building the project pro forma, identifying funding sources, and learning about the many financing products that are available to achieve fully-funded project. Presenters reviewed products such as New Markets Tax Credits, Tax Exempt Financing, RACP grants, Opportunity Zones, and more.
